The 2024-25 Walker Scholarship for RN-BSN students is closed.
The UA Little Rock School of Nursing RN to BSN program is proud to offer the Willard and Pat Walker Foundation Scholarship.
The Willard and Pat Walker Foundation Scholarship is a $1,000 to $8,000 scholarship available to any RN to BSN student who is enrolled in nursing courses during the fall 2024 semester. This includes current and new BSN completion students.
Awards will be based on academic record, excellence in professionalism, RN licensure, and financial need. A writing sample should be submitted with the application. Academic performance assessment will include grade point average in general education courses required for the major, UA Little Rock GPA, repeated courses, and pattern of enrollment. Awards will be dispersed each semester depending on the number of credits taken in that semester. Students must have the FAFSA 2024-25 completed to be eligible.
Instructions: Please complete the following application. All aspects of the application, including the writing sample, must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2024. Respond to each section as accurately as possible. If the application is incomplete, if you have not completed the FAFSA 2024-25 application, or if you are not enrolled in Fall 2024 BSN courses, you will not be considered for this scholarship.
