The Center for Public Collaboration helps public officials, government agencies, nonprofit and community-based organizations, and other public-serving enterprises manage complex and sensitive public issues by:
- Working with neighborhood-based organizations to build a sense of community and cooperation in solving neighborhood problems and improving quality of life.
- Advising organizations on how to form partnerships with stakeholders to solve public problems.
- Serving as an honest and impartial broker in meetings between stakeholders and with the public aimed at negotiating solutions to public problems.
- Providing training to organization or agency staff on how to manage public dialog and conflict.
We offer a free initial consultation to organizations needing our services. If your organization requires additional support beyond this, fees are negotiable and on a sliding scale based on organization resources. In many cases we can provide services free of charge to an organization.
