Rhonda Riggin received a BSE and MSE from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR. She began her teaching career at Henderson where she taught Human Anatomy and Physiology.  Rhonda continued to teach at the college level until 2004, teaching at the Baptist Medical System School of Nursing in Little Rock, the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton, Texas and Central Texas College in Killeen, Texas.  In 2004 Rhonda began teaching at Booneville High School where she taught AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, PAP Biology and Anatomy & Physiology. Booneville High School was an original AR AIMS school (Cohort 1).  AR AIMS offered Rhonda the opportunity to become a Laying the Foundation Trainer and a National Math and Science Consultant. Rhonda served on the ADE Committee that developed the Biology Accelerated Path Frameworks (the committee was headed by Debbie Bilyeu, AR AIMS Science Content Director).  For AR AIMS Rhonda wrote and presented Student Study Sessions, wrote and recorded Zoom sessions, taught AP Biology Boot Camp and developed the Google Site Content for AP Biology and 6th Grade Accelerated Science.  Rhonda is a College Board Reader for AP Biology.  Rhonda joined AR AIMS as Program/Content Manager and Assistant Science Director in July of 2018 and in 2019 became the Program Director.
