The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UA Little Rock) is accepting applications for the position of Vice Provost for Research and Dean of the Graduate School. The starting date for this position is July 1, 2019. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The Vice Provost for Research and Dean of the Graduate School oversees the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP), the Office of Research Compliance, Tech Launch, the Graduate Institute of Technology (GIT), and the Graduate School. The Vice Provost/Dean reports to the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost and will be a member of the Provost’s leadership team, the Deans Council.

Required Education and/or Experience:

Terminal degree in any field, tenured associate or full professor at UA Little Rock.

  • Experience as a PI on an externally funded grant project
  • Demonstrated success with research, graduate education and leadership
  • Minimum of three years of higher education administrative experience
