Dutch King joins AEDC’s Business Development Division as Project Manager

Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC) officials announced today Dutch King has joined the staff as a project manager for the agency’s Business Development Division. Project managers are on the front lines in the state’s efforts to recruit, retain, and grow businesses to Arkansas. They assist prospects with site and/or building searches, work with companies that qualify for state incentive packages, and negotiate funding and financing for infrastructure projects and training funds.

“I’m excited to join the Arkansas Economic Development Commission team of professionals,” King said, “and I look forward to working with partners across the state to help create jobs for Arkansans.”

King previously worked for Perks Worldwide in business development in the company’s Global Channel Operations. Before that, he was in sales with the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce. The Pine Bluff native has a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in marketing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where he majored in marketing.
