Dr. Mike Hemphill is the Director of Academic Programming for the Clinton Foundation and is managing the Presidential Leadership Scholars Program, a joint national initiative of the presidential centers of William J. Clinton, George H.W. Bush, Lyndon Baines Johnson, and George W. Bush. Prior to joining the Clinton Foundation, Dr. Hemphill served as Provost and Dean of Centenary College of Louisiana, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Chief Academic Officer at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service, and spent 24 years at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where he served as Chair of the Department of Speech Communication and Dean of the College of Professional Studies.  Dr. Hemphill holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree from the University of Iowa.
