Congratulations to BA student Adelene McClenny on getting a volunteer position for the National Communication Association’s 103rd Convention this fall in Dallas, TX! Way to go Addie!



Congratulations to MA alum Bruce Trimble on being named one of Arkansas’ Most Intriguing Men by AY Magazine! Way to go Bruce!



Congratulations to recent BA graduate Belinda White on her new position as an Academic Counselor for the College of Educations and Health Professions here at UA-Little Rock. She’ll focus on advising pre-nursing students, but will also be cross-trained to advise students interested in other programs within the CEHP. Way to go Belinda!



Congratulations to MA alum Bobby Clark on his new position as Access Supervisor for Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Bobby will be responsible for hiring, training, and managing staff for the testing clinics. He will also handle communication between the front end staff and the physicians, and serve on a project team for Ambulatory Care Services. Way to go Bobby!



Dr. Melanie Morgan (M.A. Class 1992) received a 2017 Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award in Memory of Charles B. Murphy. Melanie serves as an Associate Professor for Communication at Purdue University. Melanie is also the director of Purdue’s basic presentational speaking course.

Way to go Dr. Morgan!



Congratulations to BA alum and MA student Mark Hulsey on his new position as special project manager within the road and bridge department with Pulaski county! Way to go Mark!
