ATLE Lunch and Learn: Active-Based Learning in an Online Synchronous Environment

This active-based learning demonstration and subsequent discussion, led by Dr. J. Bradley Minnick (English Dept.), will provide instructors with cognitive tools to use in all classrooms. We begin with reading aloud, then move to composing in response to the reading, and finally, we consider the importance of posing questions that are on-the-line and between-the-lines. This type of pedagogy is designed to engage students with active participation and active critical thinking skills.

All faculty are encouraged and invited to attend. This event will earn you 10 points toward your next ATLE award.
