This virtual ATLE Lunch and Learn will be an opportunity for faculty to learn about using non-traditional assignments to align summative assessments with pedagogical values. Examples of past assignments that assess student learning while foregrounding collaboration, the joy of learning, and higher order skills of application, analysis, evaluation, and creation will be shared. Examples include the Un-essay, interwoven “real-world” final projects, iclicker, trivia, and debates. Dr. Kris McAbee and Dr. Laura Ruhl-Whittle will be our presenters.

All faculty are encouraged and invited to attend. This event will earn you 10 points toward your next ATLE award.
