April Chatham-Carpenter will be our guest speaker for the event. It will be an engaging session that most faculty will find relevant and useful.

Managing difficult situations with and between students in a classroom is an ever-evolving skill, as we learn to manage the conflicts that take place between us as human beings, which find their way into our classrooms.  In this session, we will look at individual and group communication strategies that can be used to improve the speaking and listening that takes place during such situations, and consider decision-making tools for how and when to get involved in these situations.

As usual a delicious lunch will be provided for in-person attendees.
