Thank you for your interest in applying for the UA Little Rock Disability Resource Center (DRC) Interpreter Internship. This internship aims to provide you with the opportunity to observe, practice, and give feedback in a real-time post-secondary setting. To be considered for the internship, UA Little Rock requests additional information, found below.
UA Little Rock DRC Interpreter Internship Application Requirements:
- Completed Application form
- Cover letter
- Resume
- Letter of recommendation
- Copy of your interpreting credential
- Copy of your Arkansas License
- Video of a signed introduction
- Video of your work
- Review and sign the Interpreter Intern Policy Handbook
To apply, the application and all materials should be submitted 30 days before the semester start date. It is our hope that your experiences at UA Little Rock will give you the necessary tools to become a successful, professional, and ethical interpreter.
