The 15th International Conference on Information Quality (ICIQ-2010) was held in Little Rock, Arkansas, on November 12 – 14, 2010. It was hosted by the Donaghey College of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) in the new Donaghey Engineering and Information Technology (EIT) building on Saturday, November 13th, with the Sunday sessions being held at the Peabody hotel in downtown Little Rock. The conference attracted more than 140 IQ professionals from all over the world, including Australia, China, India, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, and Finland.
UALR is the first university to host the ICIQ in the US other than MIT where the ICIQ was founded in 1996. UALR was selected because it has the only Information Quality Graduate Program in the US. For more information on the UALR IQ program visit https://ualr.edu/informationquality .
The featured speakers at ICIQ 2010 included Cita Furlani, Director of the Information Technology Laboratory, Rod Ford, Founder and CEO of CognitiveDATA, Inc., Rick McConville, Acxiom’s PanOptic-X Product Manager and Sharif Youssef, Acxiom’s Enterprise Product Strategist.
