Welcome new students – learn how to use campus WiFi

IT Services welcomes our new students to the Fall 2018 semester!

The wireless network provides current students, recent graduates, current employees, and UA Little Rock guests, with access to both campus and internet services. Wireless network services are also available on the Bowen School of Law and Benton Center campuses.

To learn more about campus wireless services and how to get connected, visit the IT Services website where you will find easy to follow instructions, frequently asked questions, and contact information.

UA Little Rock has invested more than $5 million to improve the university’s core network environment which consists of technology that originally was implemented in 2008.

Over the course of the late summer and into early fall, 39 buildings have been converted over to the new wireless network and more than 1,800 wireless access points (WAPS) have been installed.

Users are experiencing greatly increased wireless speed and coverage in the upgraded buildings.

The project continues to move forward with many more buildings on the UA Little Rock campus scheduled for upgrades. Keep checking the IT Services website for the latest information on  progress.
