Liz was drawn to Bowen because of the school commitment to diversity and public service. She exemplifies those qualities in through her involvement with the Black Law Student Association, Christian Legal Society, and the Arkansas Association of Women Lawyers. Additionally, she was selected as a Law Review Apprentice for the 16-17 school year. Beyond the grounds of Bowen, Liz volunteers with the Arkansas Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and at Don R. Roberts Elementary School.
Your Light will Shine Out of the Darkness
Two years ago Liz began changing lives. She volunteers helping people during the darkest periods of their lives working with the UAMS Estate Planning services for cancer patients. Liz is taking this commitment a step further, finalizing training to become a Court Appointed Special Advocate.
Can’t Do it Alone
A litigation law clerk at the Arkansas Municipal League during the day, and super mom to six year old Naila; Liz credits her faith and the support of family, faculty, and staff in her journey.
