Matthew V. Kerns

Kerns photoMatthew V. Kerns is the Assistant Dean of Admissions, Scholarships, and Enrollment Data at the UA Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law. Dean Kerns serves on the UA Little Rock Safe Zone Executive Committee; the executive board for the Southwestern Association of Prelaw Advisors; the board for the Arkansas Mock Trial Foundation; and several Law School Admission Council committees and workgroups.

Dean Kerns is a frequent national speaker on pre-law and admissions issues and has been recognized by Ms. JD’s T.I.M. Initiative for his work in supporting women and women’s initiatives in the legal profession.

Dean Kerns earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History at Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania and his Juris Doctor degree at Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. He is a member of the Florida Bar Association, American Bar Association, and several pre-law advisor associations.
