Pulitzer Prize winning author Matthew Desmond has been selected as the featured speaker for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Winthrop Rockefeller Distinguished Lecture Series this fall. In order to delve further into the issues Desmond explores in his work, Ottenheimer Library will host a casual book discussion of “Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City” on November 15 at 12:00 p.m. room 535 of the library.
Attendees are welcome to bring their lunch and enjoy drinks and dessert provided by Ottenheimer Library. The event is open to all who wish to come.
We will discuss the work and explore The Eviction Lab, a database of Princeton University and the first nationwide database of eviction related data.
A limited number of free copies for those wishing to attend the discussion are available for pick up from the Ottenheimer Library front desk.
