Ottenheimer Library’s Continuing Services and COVID-19 Updates

Please check this page often for updates on library services. The UA Little Rock Ottenheimer Library is open!  Please check our Hours for current information on opening and closing times.

Learn and Be Safe

In adherence to campus guidelines, masks are required in the library.  Chairs and technology stations are set at least 6 feet apart to support social distancing. The library undergoes a deep cleaning each night after closing, as well as ongoing cleaning during the day. Hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes are available on each floor.

Individual Study Spaces are available on the 1st and 2nd floors. The library has five individual rooms available on the 1st floor.  Computers are available on the 1st floor.

Laptops and Webcams are made available to  students for the semester via requests to the UA Little Rock’s Care Team. The Care Team will prioritize needs and coordinate laptop pickup with the Library. You will receive an email notification with instructions when your request is ready for pickup. Additional laptops are available to students for use in the library.

Contactless Pick up & Delivery Services

Articles, Books, DVDs, and CDs will be retrieved upon request from the Ottenheimer collection or other library collections. Articles and book chapters will be delivered electronically. All other items will be available for contactless pickup in the library lobby during Library hours or via home delivery. You will receive an email notification with instructions when your request is ready for pickup or when your request has shipped.

Mobile Print offers contactless features.  Queue print jobs from any device wherever you are–on-the-go, in the library, or even at home. When you’re ready to pick up your print job, simply come to the Library and release your print. Academic Support for Faculty

We offer library research and information literacy workshops, delivered synchronously and asynchronously.  Most workshops are 50 minutes and we can be catered to meet your needs.

The library will assist faculty with locating and integrating library and other affordable learning solutions in Blackboard.  Our new library Blackboard tool helps faculty search and integrate articles and ebooks directly in Blackboard.

Faculty may request any electronic items or videos  needed for classes, including unlimited simultaneous users in many cases.

We will provide services for those who qualify under  ADA, including face-to-face support, custom searching, or retrieval of physical items.
