UALR Small Business Center Celebrates Entrepreneurship Jan. 25
UALR’s Arkansas Small Business Development Center celebrates Arkansas Entrepreneur Day Thursday, Jan. 25, by simultaneously offering its popular Starting a Business in Arkansas seminar in 14 cities throughout the state, including sessions in Spanish.
The seminars will be conducted from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, in locations in Little Rock, Conway, Fayetteville, Searcy, Bentonville, Fort Smith, Russellville, Jonesboro, Batesville, Magnolia, Hope, Arkadelphia, Hot Springs and Pine Bluff. Spanish sessions will be offered in Little Rock and Jonesboro. Metropolitan Bank will sponsor the en español session in Little Rock at the Dee Brown Library (6325 Baseline Rd) on Feb. 2, from 6 to 8 PM
Michel Leidermann, editor and director of El Latino, will moderate that session. The seminar prepares small business operators for the intensive business planning process, identifies major steps crucial to starting a business, discusses key issues that affect business success, and discusses start-up requirements and common pitfalls entrepreneurs face.
