U.S. Justice to Deliver Arnold Lecture at UALR Bowen School of Law

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, the third high court justice to visit UALR in three years, will deliver the second Judge Richard Arnold Lecture on Friday, Jan. 26.

“In addition to a formal address, Justice Thomas will have an opportunity to interact with UALR law students during his visit,” said Bowen School of Law Dean Chuck Goldner.

Two years ago, Justice Antonin Scalia delivered the inaugural Arnold Lecture, a speaker series honoring the late 8th Circuit Court of Appeals judge from Arkansas. Last year, Justice Stephen Breyer met with students and faculty on campus in conjunction with a visit to the Clinton School of Public Service and the Clinton Presidential Center.
