Prospective Employers, Students, Alums to Mingle at Career Fair
More than 60 businesses are expected to participate in the UALR Spring 2007 Career Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at the Jack Stephens Center.
Prospective employers are invited to meet and mingle with UALR students and alumni. All majors and degree levels are welcomed by prospective employers.
UALR’s Counseling and Career Planning Services and the Cooperative Education Program are hosting the event.
“The Spring Career Fair is a great way for employers to meet potential hires for full time and part time employment opportunities,” said Katie Swearingen, job development specialist. “We invite UALR students, alumni, faculty, and staff as well as Little Rock community members to attend the Career Fair.”
Students and alumni have a number of online resources that will prepare them for this event. Students and alumni can send their resumes to resumereview@ualr.edu to obtain feedback and direction; preparation workshops can be accessed at ualr.edu/coopeduc/studentlinks.asp; and a calendar of recruiting events can be viewed at ualr.edu/ccps_dept/new/calendar/workshop.asp.
