School Kids Celebrate Bard at UALR’s Shakespeare Scene Fest March 15-21

Area students from fourth grade to senior high will be performing the works of William Shakespeare at UALR’s annual Shakespeare Scene Festival March 15, 20, and 21.  The festival will begin at 9:30 a.m. each day at the University Theatre at UALR’s Center for Performing Arts.

The festival opens on March 15 with performances by students from Parkview Arts and Science Magnet High School, Belwood Elementary, Sylvan Hills Middle, Mills University Studies High, and Little Rock Central High School.

Students from the Arkansas School for the Deaf, Little Rock Central High, Beebe High, J.A. Fair Systems Magnet High, and Northwood Middle School perform Tuesday, March 20. The festival concludes Wednesday, March 21, with performances from North Little Rock High School-West, Dunbar Middle School, and Robinson Middle School.
