A limited number of tickets are still available for the UALR Alumni Association’s Taste of France on March 22 at the Bailey Center, benefiting the Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship Fund.

Chef Donnie Ferneau of Little Rock’s Ferneau restaurant will prepare appetizers for the event, and Glazer’s Distributors will present fine French wines for tasting.

In addition to the tasting event, Kurt Johnson of GO NEXT Travel will be on hand to discuss planned alumni trips this year to the French Alps and Italy’s Lake Garda. He’ll also have details on an upcoming trip to Rome and Florence.

Other event sponsors helping to boost the Alumni Association’s Scholarship Fund by $25,000 include Aramark, Elaine Eubank and Alfred Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Hartman, Liberty Mutual, Rector Phillips Morse, Sigma Nu Alumni Society, Stephens Group LLC, and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Taylor.

The Alumni Association Scholarship benefits juniors and seniors with a record of strong academic performance and community involvement at UALR.
