UALR will honor outstanding staff members with a May 2 ceremony in the Center for Performing Arts.

The event will begin at 10 a.m., and Jane Wayland, interim dean of the College of Business, will be the keynote speaker.

During the ceremony, UALR staff members who are recent graduates or retirees, as well as those who have logged significant years of service, will be honored. In addition, several book and tuition scholarships will be presented to employees who are continuing their education at UALR.

Three employees will also receive special honors for their work at the University or in the community. Awards for service to community, service to UALR, and personal improvement will cap off the morning ceremony.
