The UALR baseball coaching staff will play host for a pair of one-day camps in December at Gary Hogan Field for students in grades nine through 12. The two camps will take place on Saturday, Dec. 20, and Sunday, Dec. 21, and run from 1 to 4:30 p.m. each day.

Registration for each of the camps will be held from noon to 1 p.m., immediately before the start of workouts.

The camp will be conducted as a pro-style workout and will cover the fundamentals of pitching, hitting, base running, and fielding with individual instruction. Campers will also be timed in a 60-yard dash; they should bring cleats and regular shoes in case of inclement weather.

Head Coach Scott Norwood and the rest of the UALR coaching staff will be on hand to instruct campers and help prepare them for their upcoming seasons. The cost of participation is $125 per camp, with checks made payable to Trojan Baseball Camps. Individuals are expected to bring proper baseball attire.
