UALR’s Office of Recruitment is gearing up for its 2009 Open House Jan. 30.

The event invites hundreds of prospective students to visit campus, tour the facilities, meet with professors and students, and get a feel of what it’s like to be a Trojan. Last year, 700 prospective students and parents participated.

Make plans to participate in the Information Fair where booths will be available for departments and student organizations to promote their programs. Last year, representatives of more than 50 UALR colleges, departments, offices, and organizations participated in the fair, greeting prospective students and providing insights on available opportunities.

The day will be capped off by campus tours with opportunities for prospective students and their parents to visit with professors and administrators, tour facilities, and get a look at on-campus housing.
