“U.S. News and World Report” has ranked UALR’s program in rehabilitation No. 5 of the 11 institutions that offer master’s of education degrees.

“Our rehab counseling program was ranked in the top 35 nationally out of 98 programs. Among those institutions that have M.Ed. degrees only – no Ph.D. offered – UALR is No. 5 of 11 institutions,” said Dr. Angela M. Sewall, dean of the UALR College of Education.

The Master of Arts in Counseling with emphasis in Rehabilitation Counseling program, also known as the Rehabilitaition Counseling Program at UALR, is a fully accredited 54-hour online graduate degree program that seeks to prepare rehabilitation counseling professionals to provide direct services and resource coordination for individuals with disabilities seeking to re-enter the labor market.
