UALR Hosts “Focus the Nation” Town Hall Event April 13
In connection with the nationwide conversation on the American energy future and global climate solutions, UALR’s International Studies Program will host the Arkansas “Focus the Nation” town hall event from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 13, in Dickinson Hall Auditorium.
The event, also sponsored by The Net Impact Student Group and Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honors Society, is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
The discussion will center on sustainable energy, global climate change, and the future. Participants include Congressman Vic Snyder; Pulaski County Justice of the Peace Pat Dicker; state Rep. Kathy Webb; Dave Millay, director of UALR Physical Plant; and EcoConservation President Rob Fisher.
