UALR Names Top Scholarship Awards for Fall
UALR Chancellor Joel E. Anderson’s office released today the names of 11 fall freshmen who will receive the four-year, $50,000 Chancellor’s Academic Distinction Scholarships based on exceptional test scores.
The scholarship recipients were selected for their outstanding leadership activities, community and school involvement, service, as well as academics. The winners are:
- Ryan Burton of Lonoke, a graduate of the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Science, and the Arts (ASMSA)
- Robert Ballew, Cabot
- Dylan Jacobs, Malvern High School
- Ethan Castle, Greenwood High School
- Alexander Mullenix of Hot Springs Village, Jessieville High School
- Patrick Clemmons of Little Rock
- Bryan White of Mulberry, ASMSA
- Michael Underwood, McCrory High School
- Arthur Slaton of Hot Springs, Lakeside High School
- Rebecca McEachern of Star City
- Dana Gray of El Dorado, Parkers Chapel High School
