Deadlines are approaching for prospective and current UALR students who are applying for admission, requesting financial aid, or registering for classes for Fall 2009 semester. Students still have time to apply, enroll, and secure financing for the fourth summer term July 6 to Aug. 7. Deadlines have passed for the first three sessions of summer classes.

Registration is underway for Session 4 and the last day to register for classes is Tuesday, July 7. First-time freshmen and freshmen transfer students must submit credentials for admission by 5 p.m. Thursday, June 25. All others must ably by 4 p.m. Thursday, July 2. June 1 is the deadline to seek financial aid for summer and full payment for tuition and fees is July 2.

Here is a rundown of important dates for students planning on enrolling at UALR in the fall semester, which begins Aug. 20. Early registration currently  is underway:

• 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 1 – Submission deadline for all required documentation for a financial aid eligibility decision by the start of fall classes.
• 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7 – Deadline for confirmed financial aid or submit $100 deposit to hold early registration selections. Early registration ends.

• 8 a.m. Monday, Aug. 10 – Standard registration begins
• 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug.12 – Admission applications deadline for first-time freshmen and freshmen transfers.
• 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19 – Deadline for newly-admitted first-time freshmen and freshmen transfer students to meet with advisor and register for classes.
• 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19 – Deadline for submit full payment without late fee for the fall semester. Regular registration ends.
• 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19 – Deadline for all others to apply for admission.
• 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26 – Deadline to register, add classes, or change a schedule.
• 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26 – Deadline for payment with additional late fees.
