On-Campus Clinic Offers H1N1, Seasonal Shots Monday

The Arkansas Department of Health will conduct a flu vaccine clinic on campus from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, in the Donaghey Student Center’s Ledbetter Hall Room A. UALR Health Services Director Marie Sandusky said plenty of seasonal flu vaccines and H1N1 vaccines will be available.

The H1N1 vaccines are free. Seasonal vaccines cost $20, but organizers will be accepting insurance for those with an insurance card.

“Because this is not a UALR vaccine program, students, faculty, and staff are not required to submit payment at the cashier’s office. Department of Health personnel will be accepting fees and taking insurance information on site in Ledbetter Hall,” Sandusky said.

All students, faculty, staff, and dependents over age six months may receive vaccines.
