Dr. Lars Powell, UALR’s Whitbeck Chair of Economics and Finance, has been appointed editor of the Journal of Insurance Regulation, a publication of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.

Articles in the publication range from relatively short opinion pieces to in-depth legal studies, economic analyses, public policy analyses and empirical studies. The editorial review board and independent reviewers evaluate all submissions in a double-blind review process, focusing on the importance of the subject, general readership interest, documentation of ideas and concepts, and relevancy to current hot issues.
