Bowen Profs to Serve Arkansas Bar
Bowen professors were recently appointed to committees serving the Arkansas Bar Association. Their work will begin at the annual bar meeting in Hot Springs in early June.
Bowen appointments include:
- Circulation and Reference Librarian Jessie Wallace Burchfield was appointed to the Editorial Board for Handbooks Committee.
- Professor Frances Fendler was appointed to the committees on Attorney/Client Privilege, Editorial Board for Handbooks, and Professional Ethics.
- Professor Lynn Foster was appointed chair of the Editorial Board for Handbooks and a member of Uniform Laws Committee.
- Professor Ken Gallant was appointed to the Uniform Laws and Judicial Nominations committees.
The Arkansas Bar Association is a voluntary, statewide association with more than 5,000 attorney members. The association and its members participate in a variety of programs and services for the legal profession and society. Among the purposes of the association are advancing the administration of justice in Arkansas and fostering high ideals of integrity, learning, and public service among its members.
