UALR employees can get their cholesterol checked by appointment only at Heath Services in the Donaghey Student Center from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, June 15 to 18.

Call Health Services at 501-569-3188 for an appointment. Participants should not have anything to eat after midnight, other than water or black coffee, the night before their appointment.

Screenings for employees covered by QualChoice insurance are free, unless it has been less than a year since the employee’s last screening. Bring the QualChoice membership card at the time of the screening.

“If you do not have QualChoice insurance but are benefits eligible, your screening will be covered by UALR’s Wellness program — unless it has been less than a year since your last screening,” said Marie Sanduski, director of Health Services. “If you are not benefits eligible, please pay $20 at the cashier’s office in Administration North and bring the receipt to Health Services.”
