Sign Up for Trojan Trailblazers by Wednesday

Students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in the fourth annual Trojan Trailblazers Walking Contest, a fun way to drop pounds and tone up by walking across campus. Every participant will receive a free pedometer to keep up with distances walked.

Participants may sign up between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. until Wednesday, Aug. 25, in the Diamond Area at the Donaghey Student Center, or come by the Health Promotion Program and Education Office in the DSC Suite 116 to sign up.

Participants will log in their daily steps, turning them in each month to keep focused on the goal of logging 150 km by the end of the semester. Every month, refreshments will be served at two themed walks to cheer walkers on. At the end of the semester, participants will be rewarded a T-shirt and water bottle for their achievements. The top walker will be awarded a grand prize.

“We encourage everyone to join, take your first step to a healthier lifestyle,” said Chelsee Sierra, Trojan Trailblazers coordinator. For more information, call 501-569-3188.
