UALR students and employees may now subscribe to important dates on their personal calendars in Google. A subscription tool makes it easy to select from the following categories:

• Academic Semester and Registration Dates
• Admission Dates (Undergraduate and Graduate)
• Bursar (Cashier and Student Accounts)
• Financial Aid and Scholarship Deadlines
• Holidays
• Human Resources Dates
• Payroll Dates (General and Administrative)

Publishing important dates using Google Calendar is the latest component of the university’s master calendar initiative to have a central place for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to find out about UALR events and important dates. Additionally, personal calendaring in Google Calendar allows for scheduling of small group meetings.

Courses and large or public events are managed in the software system, Astra Schedule. A support site is available to assist staff and faculty with scheduling courses and events and includes a link to Astra, which is accessible with a NetID and password.
