Ottenheimer Implements NetID for Authentication
Starting this month, students, faculty, and staff can access Ottenheimer Library’s database, e-books, and e-journals by using their campus NetID.
Ottenheimer Library currently provides access to more than 50,000 electronic resources. Previously, UALR users needed to log in to the library with their 14-digit library bar code.
“While users may still use their library barcode to authenticate, they now have the option of using their more familiar campus NetID,” said J.B. Hill, director of public services at Ottenheimer.
UALR’s NetID, issued to all students and employees, is used to log in to the campus wireless network and the Blackboard course management system.
Users can look up their NetID or library bar code through BOSS and reset their NetID password. More information on NetIDs can be found on the UALR Blackboard Support site.
