After 33 years of service to UALR, Dr. Linda Musun, dean of Extended Programs, is retiring. Members of the campus community can wish her well at a Cinco de Mayo-themed reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 5, in Gallery I of the Fine Arts Building.

Prior to her retirement announcement, Musun directed UALR’s growing number of online classes and off-campus programs. Her duties included administration of the UALR Benton Center and Scholarly Technology and Resources (STaR), the support team for the Blackboard learning management system.

Previously, Musun had been the vice chancellor of academic affairs in the provost’s office.
