LRU Alums Gather Sept. 30-Oct. 1
Calling all members of the Little Rock University (LRU) classes of 1958 to 1969 for a weekend of fun and memories for people who remember the campus when it was a small, private school and when everyone was a commuter.
The group will gather Friday, Sept. 30, on the Old Student Union Plaza — South Portico from 6 to 8 p.m. for a hot dog bar and complimentary drinks.
From 6:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, the reunion will continue the fun and memories at a reception and dinner at the Jack Stephens Center.
“Alumni and guests will have the opportunity to reconnect with former classmates and to celebrate that special time in their lives as LRU students,” said Christian O’Neal, director of the Alumni Association.
The master of ceremonies will be Jerry Rose, 1966 LRU graduate and Fulbright Scholar.
Tickets are $35 per guest or $50 a couple and include both Friday and Saturday events. For reservations, call the Alumni office at 501-683-7208, or register online.
