Now that the fall semester is well underway, new UALR students can explore how they want to focus their learning by signing up for the “Explore the Majors” event from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, in Ledbetter Hall Rooms A, B, and C in the Donaghey Student Center.

Sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Academic Advising, the event is designed to help undeclared freshmen find information on majors in an assortment of disciplines.

“The focus of this event is to help undeclared freshmen determine their passion as they survey many academic areas,” said Dr. Thea Hoeft, director of the Office of Academic Advising.
