UALR unveiled a convenient new method for students, faculty, and staff to access multiple digital accounts using a single log-in beginning Monday, Feb. 27.

The new service – myUALR – provides a convenient way for students and employees to access email accounts, calendars, documents, and other Google Apps; Blackboard, the learning management tool that links students to professors and classmates outside of class; and BOSS, the administrative tool that keeps track of everything from admissions, registration, class schedules, and financial aid for students, and payroll, sick leave, and vacation for faculty and staff.

Students, faculty, and staff are now able to access the university portal by using their UALR NetID, currently used for accessing both Blackboard and the campus wireless network.

“Our goal was to provide convenient access to university systems,” said Jeannie Winston, director of Information Technology Services. “The ‘myUALR’ sign-in is a one-stop front door to major campus systems that support students, faculty, and staff.’’
