Gloria Finch Cunningham Thomas, retired controller for UALR’s College of Business, died Tuesday, March 27, following a year-long battle with peritoneal cancer. She was 66.

Born in Bradford, England, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Son Mi Cunningham of Lawton, Okla., brother Fredrick Lee Finch and his wife Linda of Kansas City, Kan., and nephew Brady Finch and niece Christi and their children.

She is also survived by her loving “second family,” Glenn and Diane Cunningham, DeAnn Shields-Marley, Sue McDonald, Ruth Craw, Catherine English, Kaye Lundgren, Beverly Maddox, Betty Danley, Jan Conine, Maybline Garner, Laurie Smith Prud’homme, Susan Elsworth, Sarah and Ruth Ward, and many other good friends.

A celebration of her life was held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Little Rock on Sunday, April 1.
