The UALR Alumni Association has experienced a big jump in membership, thanks to a growing number of new graduates who recently joined the association.

“UALR Alumni membership is on the rise and has certainly earned our slogan, ‘we are the fastest growing alumni association in the state of Arkansas,’” said Derek Boyce, membership coordinator of the association.

A growing list of benefits alumni receive by joining can explain some of the increase. Benefits include retaining the graduate’s UALR email account, numerous discounts at businesses, and free membership to the UALR Fitness Center for six months.

“We also offer resume writing assistance and job postings for all alumni members across the state,” Boyce said.
