Bowen Profs Named to Bar Committees
Professor Frances Fendler of the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law has been appointed to the Professional Ethics Committee of the Arkansas Bar Association for 2012-2013.
The appointment was made June 7 at the annual meeting of the Arkansas Bar Association. At that meeting, Fendler made a presentation, “Private Placements of Securities and New Federal Legislation.”
Professor Lynn Foster, also a member of the Bowen faculty, was reappointed to the Continuing Legal Education and Uniform Law Committees of the Arkansas Bar Association. As one of Arkansas’s uniform law commissioners, she attended the 121st meeting of the Uniform Law Commission in Nashville, Tenn., in July. Foster also presented Barbri lectures on Real Property in both Fayetteville and Little Rock.
