Workshops Offer College Life Coping Skills
UALR’s Academic Success Center is offering a series of workshops sharing tips on how to manage the busy life of a college student.
The free, 30-minute workshops are offered throughout the semester, providing tips on a variety of subjects.
Topics include money management, time management, personal wellness, study skills, social networking and online etiquette, values and goal priority setting, reading strategies, conflict resolution, stress management, and a primer on e-readers and electronic textbooks.
“Collegiate Success Program workshops provide UALR students with the tools necessary to help them reach both academic and personal goals,” said Chassidy Cooper, the supplemental instruction coordinator and academic adviser with the Collegiate Success Program.
These workshops were offered in Fall 2012. Check with the Academic Success Center for current offerings.
