Online business courses receive quality distinction

Three business courses are recipients of the Quality Matters distinction for their promotion of online education and student learning. 

The following faculty members and courses recently received the honor:

• Dr. Erick Elder, Department of Economics and Finance, Quantitative Business Analysis

• Dr. Thomas Tudor, Department of Management, Applications in Human Resource Management

• Dr. Gary Geissler, Department of Marketing and Advertising, Principles of Marketing

Quality Matters is a nationally recognized, faculty-centered, peer-review organization designed to certify the quality of online and blended courses. The QM Rubric is based on research, best practices, and instructional design. It includes eight general categories and 41 specific standards with among the highest standards for such courses.
