University of Arkansas at Little Rock senior Lauren McNeaill of Conway has been selected to receive the Roachell-Mourot Scholarship, a $2,000 award.

The scholarship is given to a Student Government Association member who exemplifies strong leadership and academic achievement. McNeaill is incoming president of the Association for the 2013-14 academic year.

The scholarship goes toward undergraduate tuition, books and fees and is awarded every spring by two former SGA alumni at the annual SGA banquet.

McNeaill is also in her fourth year as a Donaghey Scholar, the university’s honors program.
