World AIDS Day held, testing offered, Dec. 2

UALR is recognizing World AIDS Day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, in the Donaghey Student Center, room G.

The campus community is invited to join in a day of awareness and to receive free information and HIV testing.

World AIDS Day is held each year to provide people worldwide the opportunity to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for those living with HIV, as well as to commemorate people who have died from the disease.

The event is co-sponsored by the following UALR areas: Office of Campus Life Diversity Programs; Housing; Health, Promotion, Programs and Education; Health Services; Counseling Services; Trojan Talk; and student organizations, the Alliance and Kappa Psi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., as well as the Arkansas Department of Health.
