The KUAR-FM news staff earned seven awards, including three first place honors, during the Arkansas Associated Press Broadcasters Association banquet.

KUAR is the National Public Radio affiliate located on the campus of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

 The contest is open to AP stations within the state. The banquet was held April 26 in Little Rock.
