UALR Law School named ‘Best Value’ for fourth straight year
For the fourth year in a row, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s William H. Bowen School of Law has been named a “Best Value” law school by The National Jurist.
The magazine considers several academic and financial variables, including tuition costs, student debt accumulation, employment success, bar passage rate, and the cost of living where the school is located.
At 35 percent, the greatest weight is given to employment.
“It is no surprise to see the UALR Bowen School of Law consistently ranked as having enormous value to its students,” said Bowen School Dean Michael Schwartz.
“The ranking attests to the employability of our students, which is tied directly to the excellence of our diverse faculty.”
The complete list with grades (A, A- or B+) for the 53 schools will be released in the Back to School issue of preLaw Magazine and the September issue of The National Jurist, which will also rank the top 20 schools in order.
The list marks the eighth time the magazine has published a list of top schools based on overall value.
