Dr. Al-Rizzo to speak at Academy for Teaching and Learning Excellence
Dr. Hussain Al-Rizzo, winner of Faculty Excellence Awards in teaching and research, will address the Academy for Teaching and Learning Excellence (ATLE) on Thursday, Sept. 18.
The event will take place from 11:45 a.m. until 1:15 p.m. in the Donaghey Student Center, Room G.
This year’s theme for the ATLE is “Teaching through Relationship,” and the event will focus on how to mentor undergraduate and graduate students effectively.
Dr. Al-Rizzo is a professor in the Department of Systems Engineering and exemplifies great mentoring on campus, according to ATLE co-director Julien Mirivel.
